"Why We Believe in Heaven?"
1 - Because Jesus is the truth. He said he was going to prepare a heavenly home for us. If it weren't true, he'd have said so. (John 14:1-4)

"Where is Heaven?"
1 - Heaven really is up there somewhere. (Elijah, Jesus, Stephen)
2 - Biblical evidence, Jewish tradition, and apostolic writings give substantial evidence that heaven is Eden re-opened and re-populated.

"What is the current Heaven like?"
1 - Heaven is like Eden (a walled garden, enclosed park).

What will the new heaven be like?
1) The new heaven is purified, a cleansed cosmos free from the curse of sin. (2 Peter 3:10-12)
2) The new heaven is a grand city, a great country, and an eternal kingdom that is established on the earth. (Rev. 21)

What will we do in heaven?
1) We won't be floating on clouds playing harps!
2) Since the creation of Genesis, where ever there are people, God assigns tasks and responsibilities. (Genesis 2-3)
3) We will worship God with all of heaven's creatures, angels, and saints. (Revelation 4)
4) Fellowship and Feasting are part of life in heaven.

Who will we meet in heaven?
1) All the Bible heroes we've always read about!
2) Martyrs - those who gave their lives for the testimony of Christ and in defense of God's Word. (Revelation 6:9-11)
3) Family and friends who are already there.

When does a Christian go to heaven?
1) There is no such thing as soul sleep.
2) A true Christian is in heaven the moment his spirit leaves his earthly body. (1 Corinthians 5:8)
3) The only alternative answer - if we are still alive at the second coming of Christ, he will catch us up to meet him in the air to be with Him forever. (1 Thess. 4:15-18)
